History of Navgrah Mandir
The Nine Planets Mandir which is commonly known as Navgrah Mandir. It is located in Kargon Town of Madhya Pradesh which has ancient history of 600 years. The Mandir was made by Shree Sheshappa Sukhawadhani Weragkar and currently his family is doing take care of the temple with faith and dedication. This is the reason that Khargon town is developing rapidly.
The town is known as “Town of Nine Planets” and this is the reason that thousands of devotees visit the place every year. This temple is situated near to Kunda River and it is the only temple of its kind.
If you will visit the first floor of the temple then it consists of symbols of Paanchmukhi Mahadev, Saraswati and Shri Ram Panchayatan. The Shaturghana, Hanuman, Laxman, Bharat are present along with Shri Ram and Mata Sita for welfare of universe.
Garbhagriha Sthali is the innermost sanctorum of Temple where the idol of temple resides along with Surya Yantra and Suryanarayana. Another part of the temple is Parikrama Sthali in which the entire group of planets likes Rahu, Ketu, Moon, Budh, Mangal, Shani, Shukra is gathered together with their Yantras, Vahans and Madals.
Pitambara Graha Shanti Peeth is popular as the Goddess Baglamukhi and Brahmastra resides in it. The day of Makar Sanskranti is considered as the holy day to perform all kinds of Puja and rituals. The special Surya Darshan Puja is conducted for the appeasement of group of nine planets which is famous by the name of “Navgrah Puja”.
The Famous Navgrah Mela is organized by local town people in month of January and February. This Mela attracts thousands of visitors across the globe. This is the best time for pacification of Shani Dosh Nivaran. The Khargon town is located in west Nimar district of Madhya Pradesh which is jsu west of Kundi River. This town gained remarkable importance in Mughal Raj and now merges old fort and many tombs as well as palaces. It is a belief of people that the temple consists of Lord Brahma the father of Universe in form of Goddess Laxmi and Lord Murarai in form of Shri Ram Tripurantkari in the form of Shree Panchmukhi Mahadev. The Garbgraha is the place where Pitambara Graha Shanti Peeth, in same manner Suryanarayan mandir and Parikrama Sthali are residence of other planets. The Goddess Baglamukhi and Brahmastra both reside in Pitambara GrahaShanti Peeth of the Navgraha temple. In same manner Suryanarayan Temple is the place of Lord Suryanrayan with his 7 horses and Siddha Ashtadal Suryayantra.
If you talk about the sides of planets then it is mentioned respectively Buddha, Shukra and Moon in East of Parikrama Sthali, Mangal in South Rahu, Ketu and Shani just next to Guru in North. All the planets are places according to the Navgraha Dosh Nivaran sequence. This is the reason that the maximum focus is given on Sun Planet.
