MAGHA NAVRATRI OR GUPT NAVRATRI
In a single year, Navratri is celebrated four times. The four types of Navratri are – Ashad, Ashwin, Magh and Vasanth Navratri. But the Ashwin and Vasanth Navratri are much common to normal people, they are aware of it. The other two which are not so well known are called Gupt Navratri. These two are of special utilization for sadhak and tantric to execute special powerful tantric rituals like Shatkarma Tantric Prayog (Shantikaran, Vashikaran, Uchatan, Videshan, Stambhan and Maran).
During these holy nine days, extended worships are offered to Goddess Durga to obtain her motherly grace and blessings. The Vedic texts (Shri Durga Saptshati, Shrimad-Devi-Bhagwat, and Devi Mahatamya) concerned praying to Goddess Durga are chanted during these nine days.
Magh Navratri will start from 09 Feb 2016 this year and will end after nine days i.e. on 17 Feb 2016. This Magh Navratri is observed during the Shukla Paksha (bright fortnight) of Magh (January-February) month. For those who wish to resolve materialistic problems and for the sadhak & tantric these days are extremely favorable. By observing fasts and chanting shlokas people show their devotion to Durga Mata.

SAMPUT PATH OF DURGA SAPTASHATI
On the eve on the Gupt Navratra the Navgraha Mandir conducts a special Durga saptashati samput path. During the nine days of Gupt Navratri the chants of Durga Saptashati are done which are a part of the Markendeya Purana. The mantra show the power of the Goddess Durga and their effectiveness with the story of their weapons and how she slaughtered the demons.

IMPORTANT DAYS OF GUPT NAVRATRI
On the Ashtmi of the Magh Navratri, special pooja is performed in all the Devi Shakti Peeths of India. The next day is observed as the Maha Navmi. On Maha Dashmi, a majestic havan is observed in which the Durga Sapatshati is recited. On this day, nine girls below the age of 12 years are worshipped as personification of Goddess Durga. They are serve food and offered new clothes. At Navgraha Mandir Shree Navaran Yantra Poojanam is also conducted.
